Looking for a Solar Project Engineer to join a passionate team and help drive the success of a solar IPP headquartered in New Jersey. This role will involve overseeing, designing, and supporting commercial and grid-supplied Solar PV systems. There are also office locations in Illinois and Maryland!
Responsibilities
- Support the Design team during training and provide ongoing assistance as needed.
- Oversee, design, and support commercial and grid-supplied Solar Photovoltaic systems.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications to meet standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct site evaluations to assess feasibility and conditions for solar installations.
- Collaborate with structural, electrical, and civil engineers to ensure designs meet technical and code requirements.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, structural, or civil engineering design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
