Title: Solar Project Engineer
Location: Mercer County, New Jersey
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
Summary: The client is an industry leader in the development and operation of utility scale renewable and energy storage projects across the U.S. They have one of the largest portfolios and a consistent development pipeline. They are in need of a Solar Project Engineer to join their team, hit the ground running, and be a key player in their continuous success.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed layouts and preliminary drawing packages for solar PV systems to support the development and execution.
- Draft single-line and three-line diagrams while maintaining NEC, IEEE, and NESC requirements.
- Coordinate with civil and structural engineering firms.
- Estimate system performance of solar PV projects using PVSyst.
Qualifications
- B.S in Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in engineering.
- Proficiency in the use of solar PV modeling applications.
- Strong knowledge of PV design and standards such as the NEC, IEEE, UL, and IBC.
