Seeking a skilled Solar Engineer to support the development of renewable energy projects. This role involves designing utility-scale and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs for solar PV systems, including site layouts, electrical configurations, and system specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations, energy modeling, and system performance analysis to optimize project efficiency.
- Generate and review design documents, including single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and construction drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience in solar PV design, preferably for utility-scale or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and ETAP.
- Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, and other relevant electrical codes and standards.
