Senior W/WW Treatment Engineer
Location: Denver or Fort Collins, CO
Salary: 120,000 - 180,000
Role Overview:
As a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will lead the design, planning, and implementation of water and wastewater projects, ensuring technical excellence and sustainable practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and engage with clients to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of water distribution and wastewater treatment systems.
- Oversee project planning, from feasibility studies to final design and construction management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists, planners, and other stakeholders to provide integrated solutions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site visits and assessments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- PE License required.
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and environmental compliance.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
