Job Title: Senior Healthcare Transition Planner
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per annum
Location: Remote with Travel
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and manage hospital transition projects, ensuring seamless operational and clinical moves, including equipment relocations.
Develop and implement comprehensive transition plans that align with hospital operations, patient care, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with hospital leadership, clinical teams, and other stakeholders to drive change management initiatives and ensure successful transitions.
Oversee logistics, risk mitigation, and contingency planning to minimize disruptions during facility moves.
Provide expert guidance on best practices for hospital relocations, including patient flow optimization, staff readiness, and equipment placement.
Facilitate training and communication strategies to ensure all hospital personnel are prepared for the transition.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative approach to project execution.
Requirements:
Extensive experience managing hospital transitions, including operational and clinical moves as well as equipment relocations.
Strong background in healthcare environments, preferably with a clinical qualification or hands-on experience in a hospital setting.
Proven expertise in change management, with a relevant certification (e.g., Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma) being highly desirable.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and people management skills, with the ability to lead teams through complex transitions.
Experience working within or alongside healthcare consulting firms is advantageous.
Ability to travel as required to support hospital projects across various locations.
