Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers focused on the technical aspects of wastewater treatment system design and optimization.
- Provide strategic technical guidance and oversight on wastewater treatment projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, regulations, and innovation in the field.
- Oversee and manage technical design and performance of treatment processes, focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and advanced treatment technologies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish technical standards and processes that support the firm's vision as a thought leader in wastewater treatment.
- Ensure quality control and technical excellence across all engineering projects, while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment for the team.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, research, and technical innovation within the wastewater treatment space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- 15+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry, with a focus on wastewater treatment systems and technical management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving project success.
- In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other technical leaders and senior staff within the firm.
- PE license preferred, but not required.
