Role Overview
As an Associate Civil/Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in managing major infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality technical delivery, and fostering strong client relationships. You will oversee project design, coordination, and execution while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil/structural engineering projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Develop innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
- Conduct technical reviews, oversee design management, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to drive project success.
- Participate in project tendering, proposal preparation, and business development initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, supporting their professional growth.
- Ensure effective project planning, risk assessment, and quality control throughout all project stages.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Eligible for Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) registration.
- Strong background in engineering design consultancy with proven experience in major infrastructure projects.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in engineering design software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong project management and organizational capabilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is an advantage.
