In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing innovative structural solutions for a variety of projects. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet all technical and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and review detailed structural designs, calculations, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project integration and success.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes and drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- SE (Structural Engineer) license required.
- 7+ years of experience in structural design, particularly in large commercial and institutional buildings.
- Experience with seismic evaluation and design.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software and BIM modeling tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
