- Conduct surveys and evaluations of existing structures to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Prepare and issue detailed inspection reports for customers and Territory Managers.
- Communicate assessment findings and follow-up plans with business development teams and clients, ensuring technical concepts are clearly conveyed.
- Design and engineer structural repairs within the assigned territory.
- Review calculations, structural drawings, and construction documents, seeking guidance from the Senior Director as needed.
- Research building codes and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical sales support to Client Service Managers and Business Development Representatives for both existing clients and prospective customers.
- Offer technical advice and guidance to project personnel and subcontractors during execution.
- Attend technical seminars and training programs to maintain and enhance subject matter expertise.
- Mentor and assist in training engineering team members, including supervising and managing as required.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Master's degree and P.E. licensure preferred
- Master's degree and P.E Licensure is preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience in concrete construction, repair, restoration, or forensic investigation.
- Proven expertise in forensic and restoration engineering, specifically involving existing parking structures across various construction types.
- Strong understanding of structural repair design, building codes, and construction documentation.
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train engineering professionals.
