Job Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in preparing site/civil engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for projects in NYC and the surrounding metropolitan area.
- Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Provide construction administration support, including conducting site visits to active construction sites.
- Offer guidance, delegation, and training to junior staff members.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BS or BE).
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- NYS PE preferred; however, candidates with PE licensee from other states must obtain NYS licensee within 6-12 months of hire.
- Strong day-to-day communication and coordination skills with clients and design consultants.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is required.
- Experience with the NYC permitting process or Westchester County approval process is a plus.
