We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead projects in navigation sediment management, port development, and sediment reuse for ecosystem restoration. Your expertise will primarily be applied to the Atlantic Seaboard and Great Lakes, with opportunities to work on projects nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee sediment-related projects from inception to completion.
- Planning & Development: Create data quality objectives, field sampling plans, and quality assurance plans.
- Data Analysis: Analyze chemical and biological data.
- Permitting: Prepare and review environmental permits.
- Evaluation: Assess dredged material disposal options and remedial alternatives.
- Restoration Assessment: Evaluate ecosystem restoration potential.
- Ecotoxicological Assessments: Prepare MPRSA Section 103 evaluations and other related assessments.
- Regulatory Coordination: Liaise with regulatory agencies.
- Cost Projections: Develop cost projections to support proposals.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support mid- and junior-level staff.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience with sediment-related project management
- Leadership & mentoring skills
- Business development & client facing experience
