Our client, a leading provider of enterprise security solutions, is looking for a Senior Electronic Security Technician to join their team in Georgia. About the Role:
As a Senior Electronic Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems, including Avigilon video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems. You'll work on-site to ensure seamless system integration, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical expertise to clients and junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and service Avigilon security systems, including video surveillance and access control
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Work with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful installations
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing training on best practices
- Read and interpret security system schematics and technical drawings
- Ensure all cabling, mounting, and system components meet industry standards
- Provide on-site technical support and client training when needed
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in electronic security system installation and integration
- Hands-on expertise with Avigilon video surveillance and access control systems
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring, IP-based security systems, and network infrastructure
- Experience with additional security platforms like Lenel, Genetec, or Milestone is a plus
- Ability to lead projects and train junior technicians
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to travel within Georgia as needed
- Industry certifications (Avigilon, Lenel, Genetec, or similar) are a plus
