Job Title: Senior Roadway Project Manager - Public Works

Summary: We are seeking a Senior Roadway Project Manager to lead roadway projects and build strong relationships with local cities and counties in Houston. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of roadway projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local city and county officials.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and local government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including obtaining necessary permits.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, planners, and other project staff.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in roadway project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to roadway projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
