Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Researcher to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will lead and manage research projects focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with applications in EV battery systems and stationary battery systems. This role involves planning, managing, and executing research projects, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team and manage research projects in BESS, including EV battery systems and stationary battery systems.
- Plan, execute, and oversee research activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into product development.
- Mentor and manage a team of researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present research findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in battery technology and related fields.
Qualifications:
- Education: Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience:
- Researcher: Proven experience in research and development.
- Senior Researcher: Extensive experience in planning, managing, and executing research projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Knowledge of battery systems, including EV battery systems and stationary battery systems.
- Understanding of control systems.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion batteries and charge/discharge cycles.
- Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Not required.
- English: Business-level proficiency, as the role involves significant international collaboration.
