The role of Project Manager is solely responsible for oversight of the planning, construction, and start-up of large-scale renewable energy projects across the United States. This includes managing various engineering, construction, and procurement contracts, collaborating with internal and external teams, and supervising on-site construction activities. While experience in utility-scale renewables is advantageous, it's not mandatory. Candidates should, however, possess a proven track record of managing complex construction projects.
Based in Denver, CO, this position reports to the Head of Project Delivery and offers a hybrid work arrangement with both office and remote work options.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the project team, including contractors, owner-engineers, on-site construction monitors, and administrative staff.
- Oversee multiple construction projects concurrently.
- Conduct regular meetings, including design reviews, coordination with local utilities, and site coordination.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress, safety, and quality reports.
- Manage construction and procurement contracts, invoices, change orders, submittals, and requests for information (RFIs).
- Prepare cost forecasts and assist with pre-construction activities.
- Aid in managing project schedules and updates.
- Develop and implement inspection, testing, and commissioning plans.
- Coordinate interconnection processes and project close-out.
- Contribute to the establishment and execution of document control processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to on-site construction management teams.
- Foster a collaborative work environment within the project team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in large-scale renewables or complex construction projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Thorough knowledge of construction processes and sequencing.
- Hands-on experience with tools and equipment.
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Collaborative work ethic.
- Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
