About the Role: My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager (Electrical) to lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical project management.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
- Experience in the water infrastructure industry with construction and delivery experience.
