Position: Senior Project Manager
Location: Bloomington, IN (Hybrid Onsite)
Responsibilities:
Asset Relocation: Oversee the transfer of equipment, materials, production clean rooms, personnel, document storage, office spaces, warehousing, and other critical assets, ensuring adherence to change controls, budget constraints, and stakeholder expectations.
Project Leadership: Lead teams in establishing new production and warehousing operations within tight timelines, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate activities across various departments to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
Scope and Budget Management: Define project scope, manage budgets, timelines, and handle change orders effectively.
Materials and Cost Control: Oversee materials planning, budget development, and cost control for assigned projects.
Resource Allocation: Identify and secure necessary equipment and resources for project execution.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
Quality Assurance: Understand lifecycle management for quality applications and oversee processes for protocol development and execution.
Client Management: Manage internal and client-related activities, serving as the primary liaison for discussions regarding scope changes, timelines, or budgets.
Technical Issue Resolution: Identify and address complex technical issues and resource challenges.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and concise project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Lead meetings to address equipment and process issues, employing methodologies such as FDA guidelines, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of parts, materials, components, and equipment that meet technical specifications.
Risk Management: Implement risk management processes to mitigate project delays or cost overruns.
Requirements:
Location Flexibility: Willingness to work onsite in Bloomington, IN, in a hybrid capacity.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years managing facilities capital projects in the pharmaceutical/cGMP sector, with at least 12 years of overall industry experience.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Smartsheet and MS Project.
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively.
Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Lifecycle Management: Experience overseeing projects through their full lifecycle.
