Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager to join our Arlington, VA team. This role involves leading and supporting design, permitting, and client development efforts for a variety of land development projects. You'll collaborate with industry leaders and manage projects that span residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
- Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and optimize staff utilization.
- Engage in business development by cultivating new client relationships and maintaining existing ones.
- Oversee site/civil efforts, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control from concept through completion.
- Lead stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
- Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering principles into land development projects.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant site/civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development projects.
- Professional Engineering license.
- US citizenship required for federal government projects.
- Proficiency in site/civil design, including grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control.
- Strong client development and management skills.
- AutoCAD or Civil 3D proficiency preferred.
- Active involvement in professional organizations.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.
