A leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management firm is seeking a Senior Medium Voltage Engineer (PE) to oversee engineering design, analysis, and project execution for medium voltage systems in solar and energy storage projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Lead medium voltage system design, including SLDs, grounding, and relay programming.
- Provide engineering oversight and project management support for renewable energy projects.
- Serve as a key interface between clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Conduct equipment selection, procurement, and final design reviews.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple projects across various locations.
Responsibilities
- Design and stamp medium voltage (MV) drawings, including overhead/underground layouts, wire sizing, and relay schematics.
- Conduct engineering analysis, energy modeling, and system calculations to optimize performance.
- Oversee peer reviews of design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage engineering tasks, subconsultants, and internal project workflows.
- Support commissioning, inspections, and site assessments to verify system functionality.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with experience in medium voltage power systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy, power distribution, or electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, energy modeling software, and relay programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for site visits and project execution.
