We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Baltimore, MD office.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee and manage multidisciplinary project teams in designing and implementing mechanical systems for various building types and applications.
- Engineering Design: Create and review detailed mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring they meet local codes and industry standards.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions that align with their goals.
- Technical Expertise: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and quality of design documents, calculations, and specifications produced by the engineering team.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Effectively manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior engineers and staff, fostering their professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland or the ability to obtain one.
- At least 16 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in industry software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
