About the Role: My client, an award-winning engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing HVAC systems for healthcare facilities, including hospitals and medical office buildings, as well as support buildings such as central plants.
Responsibilities:
- Administer all phases of projects from proposal development through construction completion
- Budget, schedule, plan, design, and specification writing on a projects
- Ability to direct, control, and monitor all activities on multiple projects at a time
Requirements:
- Over a decade of experience in mechanical design engineering, collaborating with consulting engineers or firms to create mechanical systems for various facilities and buildings
- Proficient in Mechanical/HVAC design for sectors such as healthcare, federal, higher education, aviation, and waterfront projects
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineer
- Professional Engineer license in California
- Knowledge of the HCAI codes and standards, FGI Guidelines and NFPA-99
- Skilled in effective communication through both oral presentations and written formats
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, even under pressure
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, self-driven, and enthusiastic
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships
- Technologically adept, with proficiency in core applications and a quick learner
- Experienced in using computers, particularly familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
