Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing mechanical engineering services to produce construction drawings and specifications for our clients. You will be primarily working alongside other professional engineers and designers to complete designs for federal, aviation, heatlhcare, and higher education projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design efforts on various projects, both large and small
- Manage design schedules and team members
- Collaborate directly with other disciplines, Architects and Owners
- Conduct preliminary evaluations and prepare reports
- Produce design documents (drawings, specifications, and reports)
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (PE Registration preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Design, including HVAC load calculations, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, air distribution design of VAV and CV systems, hydronic system design, equipment selection, shop drawing review, assessment of existing systems and facilities, and field observation and reporting
- Extensive knowledge of the International Mechanical and Energy Conservation Codes
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD
- Must be a US Citizen
