Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the product development and management of the data centre portfolio and associated services. The role involves developing the product strategy/roadmap, preparing business cases/product offerings for management approval, supporting product development, and managing product revenue/profitability performance. The role also includes managing internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Operations, and Product Marketing to ensure successful product launches, as well as external stakeholders such as service vendors to develop the data centre services portfolio. Additionally, this role supports the product management of connectivity and managed services offerings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire end-to-end product lifecycle of the data centre and associated services.
- Develop and deliver the strategy/roadmap for the data centre services product portfolio. Prepare necessary business cases for management approval.
- Develop data centre product offerings, set pricing for data centre services, optimize costs, and track revenue and profitability.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive market information. Translate customer data centre needs into viable and competitive product offerings.
- Manage partner ecosystems and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of new data centre services or enhancements. Provide clear product requirements and specifications to the Engineering team.
- Provide enablement to internal stakeholders.
- Travel as required to understand the data centre offering in the region and create a regional data centre product portfolio offering. Understand the regional data centre landscape.
- Set up and enhance processes/policies surrounding the data centre services portfolio.
- Develop and support the connectivity and managed services product portfolio/strategy through partnerships and/or in-house development.
- Work with Product Marketing to support the development of go-to-market initiatives such as product messaging, pricing, product offerings, and product collaterals.
- Manage partner ecosystem programs for selecting relevant partners to drive product development and lead generation.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of product performance and product initiatives.
Job Specification:
Education Background:
- Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
- Certified Data Centre Professional preferred.
- Relevant connectivity certifications preferred.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of working experience in a data centre operator or system integrator environment. Prior connectivity experience preferred.
Core Competencies:
- Good commercial sense.
- Understanding of trends in the data centre industry.
- Technical understanding of data centres.
- Proven track record of working with various stakeholders to deliver data centre projects/products.
- Willingness to take on challenges.

- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time if required.
