My client is a leading IPP with a pipeline of utility-scale BESS projects across the West and Central US markets, additionally in the process of expanding East. With a portfolio of operating projects and significant pipeline advancing, strong leadership and talent on board, and phenomenal backing from a leading investor in the clean energy space, they're well set up for another successful year ahead.
They're currently looking to bring someone on between the Senior Manager and Director level, to oversee and advance their pipeline in ERCOT, with potential support of MISO as well. This position will report to the VP of Development, additionally working on market strategy and M&A opportunities as they continue to expand their presence across the US.
Ideal Candidate Criteria:
- Existing experience developing utility-scale BESS projects. Ideally stand-alone storage, but at a minimum projects paired with BESS.
- Roughly 5-8 years in renewables and/or development. (this parameter can be flexible depending on additional criteria met)
- Although not a requirement, specific BESS experience in ERCOT would be ideal. However, BESS experience in any US market will be of great interest, with the motivation to learn ERCOT quickly and challenge yourself in a new territory.
- Experience advancing projects through the full development life-cycle, from greenfield/acquisition through to execution/COD.
Lastly, this can be a fully remote position, with company HQ based out West.
