Job Title: Senior Healthcare Architect - NYC
Salary: 110,000-140,000
Intro: A nationally recognized firm in architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning, is seeking a motivated Architect to join their dynamic New York office. Their multi-disciplinary practice is built on the core values of professional excellence, design quality, and collaboration.
Role Overview: As a Senior Architect, you will independently direct and supervise staff to develop medium to large-scale projects with various complexities. You will oversee a team of architects, technicians, and interns, ensuring the design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments, as well as supervising the production of drawings and construction documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure design intent is maintained while preparing construction documents.
- Supervise teams of various sizes in project situations.
- Manage and deliver construction documents for projects of all sizes.
- Provide technical support to project team members.
- Assist in the preparation of design documents and presentation materials.
- Develop code-compliant designs and participate in client presentations.
- Direct project coordination meetings and oversee the development of building designs.
- Supervise the detailing phase and coordinate with engineering disciplines.
- Develop project specifications and technical requirements.
- Manage submittal responses, shop drawing reviews, and construction site visits.
- Mentor architects, technicians, and interns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Architecture
- Registered Architect in at least one state, with credentials for registration in other states
- Demonstrated technical and organizational proficiency
- Superior graphic design, building design, and conceptualization skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite
- Experience in hand drawing and sketching
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Architecture
- Proficiency with Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D Max, and Sketch-up
