Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and manage geotechnical investigations and analyses for our renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, excellent project management skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead geotechnical investigations and site assessments for renewable energy projects.
- Conduct soil and rock sampling, testing, and analysis.
- Develop and review geotechnical reports, designs, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques, soil mechanics, and foundation design.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
