Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Houston office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing geotechnical projects, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and geologists.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Conduct site investigations and analyze geotechnical data.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
- Experience with flood control projects and working with Harris County and the City of Houston is a plus.
