Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Springfield, MA (Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office, rest remote)

Position Overview: They are seeking an entrepreneurial and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead the technical and managerial aspects of their geotechnical projects. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working 1-2 days in the office and the remainder remotely. The role also presents potential ownership opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee technical aspects, including site investigations, soil and rock sampling, and geotechnical analysis.
- Prepare and review detailed geotechnical reports, proposals, and technical documents.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Drive the growth and development of the geotechnical engineering division.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and project management.
- Extensive knowledge of geotechnical principles, practices, and software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
