They have their own Soil & Rock Mechanics Laboratories, and their comprehensive range of services caters to both government and private sector clients. Projects cover a diverse array of areas, including Commercial & Residential Developments, Tunnelling Services, Environmental Assessments, Water Infrastructure, Instrumentation & Monitoring, Laboratory & Earthwork Testing, Pavement Design & Testing, Renewable Resources, Landslip & Slope Stability Assessment, and field Geotechnical Investigations & Assessments.
Responsibilities: As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing client interactions, supporting business development efforts, and overseeing field testing and construction activities. You will conduct Geotechnical investigations and instrumentation work, perform Geotechnical design and analyses, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Additionally, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members will be an important aspect of this role.
Requirements:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar Geotechnical Engineering role.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm for tackling challenging projects.
- Excellent communication skills and effective time management.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, white card, and RIW card (preferable).
- Registration with the National Engineering Registry (NER) or progress towards becoming a chartered professional engineer (CPEng).
