Our client is in search of a skilled construction estimator familiar with the Electrical outside utility sector. Key duties involve promptly and precisely crafting bids and proposals for overseeing and constructing Overhead/Underground civil/Electrical T&D and substation setups. Common projects encompass Overhead/Underground T&D and substation ventures, as well as relocation and replacement endeavors within public ROWs and private easements. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on field expertise in methods pertinent to such tasks, spanning open excavation, Electrical T&D, and Substation work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Expert in MS Office Applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
- Expert organizer (notes, files, documents, etc.)
- Proficient in Technical Writing/Correspondence
- Proficient in reading prints and performing quantity and material takeoffs
- Experience with B2W / Heavybid Software is not required, but would be a plus
