Environmental Project Manager
Overview:
- Manage all phases of a project, from initial business and scope development to final report preparation and financial management.
- Lead project teams providing environmental services, including assessments, subsurface investigations, soil and water remediation, and permitting and compliance.
- Develop proposals and project budgets.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies.
- Manage technical staff, project financials, and subcontractors.
- Perform quality assurance tasks.
- Handle project-related administrative duties.
- Evaluate and interpret data.
- Prepare reports.
- Drive business development initiatives.
- Interact directly with clients, contractors, laboratories, and government officials at local, state, and federal levels.
- Mentorship and Support: Collaborate with senior management to mentor and support the professional development of staff.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct annual performance reviews.

Qualifications:
- 12-15 years of experience in environmental consulting.
- 5 of experience years in project management.
- B.S./M.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- P.E. or P.G. license preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, ACT 2, etc.).
- Experience in environmental site assessment and remediation, data interpretation, and client communication.
- Proven ability to develop proposals (scope of service, budget, and schedule) and manage projects safely and efficiently.
- Business Development and Client facing experience preferred.
- Established relationships in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, Manufacturing, and Public sectors are a plus.
- Groundwater modeling experience is a plus.
