We are a private engineering and science consulting firm specializing in environmental projects. Our team includes environmental engineers, geologists, and scientists who tackle unique and complex projects. We are known for our exceptional client service, technical and regulatory expertise, and ability to manage complex projects.
We are seeking a Senior-Level Environmental Professional for our office in Emeryville, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in designing and executing site characterization projects, developing work scopes and budgets, managing staff and subcontractors, and communicating with clients and stakeholders. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills are essential to support growth in our office and overall practice.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage small to regional multi-disciplinary projects.
- Develop technical approaches for site characterization activities.
- Prepare written proposals, manage project budgets, and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide technical training and support to junior staff to ensure precision and consistency in field tasks.
- Work directly with clients to identify project needs and communicate results.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 10+ years of related work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
- Professional registration as a Geologist (P.G.), Hydrogeologist (C.H.G.), or Engineer (P.E.).
- Extensive experience overseeing environmental drilling programs and sampling environmental media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing projects, including proposal preparation, cost tracking, and budget maintenance.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
- Ability to travel.
