Senior Environmental Consultant (Environmental Impact Assessments)
Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to manage and deliver projects focused on Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Environmental Baseline Studies (EBS), and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans (EMMPs) across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed reports for EIAs, EBS, EMMPs, and feasibility studies, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and best practices.
- Lead proposal development, including drafting technical content and preparing cost estimates for environmental studies.
- Manage projects from start to finish, working closely with clients, government authorities, internal teams, and subcontractors.
- Assist senior consultants with proposals, presentations, and reports as needed.
- Conduct environmental assessments and monitoring of various parameters such as water, air, soil, and noise quality
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong background in EIA/EMMP projects.
- Fieldwork experience in conducting biodiversity surveys (marine or terrestrial) with strong species identification skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore's environmental laws and relevant regulatory guidelines (BIA, PUB, NEA).
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in project management and the ability to handle complex situations with discretion.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities; experience working with Singaporean government authorities is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with QGIS is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
This position will be based in Singapore.
