About the Role:
Our client, a leading offshore wind manufacturer, is seeking a PMO Assistant to support project management functions within their offshore wind projects. This role is critical in ensuring effective planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning, Primavera P6 scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
Utilize Primavera P6 for project scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting.
Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Support project governance and reporting, ensuring compliance with project standards and best practices.
Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary to the PMO lead.
Assist in resource planning, budget tracking, and documentation management.
Facilitate project meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO structure.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the offshore wind or renewable energy sector.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project scheduling tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of offshore wind project lifecycles is a plus.
