A national engineering consulting firm is looking to grow its office in Las Vegas, NV by hiring a senior project engineer to join the Land Development team. The firm seeks someone that enjoys a variety of civil engineering projects performed on behalf of private and public sector clients.
About the Role
In the Senior Engineer position, you will operate under limited guidance to perform complex engineering tasks and supervise a small group of engineers. You may also serve as a project manager for one major project or several smaller projects, supervising other technical support staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various public and private projects.
- Preparation of construction plans, submittal reviews, RFIs, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Review development plans for compliance with established engineering standards and practices.
- Efficiently manage resources and address any delays or obstacles during the project life cycle.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise technical support staff as needed, assist in managing budget and workload,
- Ability to take on budget management and invoicing responsibilities is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid Professional Engineer license in the State of Nevada
- Applicants should possess at least 8 years of experience in executing the key duties described
- Proven ability to gather, organize, and analyze engineering data to create comprehensive reports
- Efficient management of diverse engineering functions
- Effective teamwork skills within an engineering team
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, including Civil 3D
- Demonstrated knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, practices, and methods
