Job Description: We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the design and implementation of systems for infrastructure and commercial facilities. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical load calculations and develop specifications for UPS systems, emergency/standby generators, and low and medium-voltage switchgear.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, Etap, Capper/Dapper, or equivalent software for design and analysis.
- Conduct short circuit and selective coordination studies, as well as arc flash hazard analysis studies.
- Design standby and emergency generator systems, including paralleling generator systems.
- Conduct extensive field surveys and provide construction administration services.
- Supervise and mentor staff engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
- Develop technical documentation and reports, demonstrating strong technical writing skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- BS or MS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Proficient in electrical load calculations and the use of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficient with Etap, Capper/Dapper, or equivalent software.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and commercial facilities, with specific expertise in data center infrastructure design.
- Experience with the development of short circuit and selective coordination studies.
- Experience with the development of arc flash hazard analysis studies.
- Extensive experience with the design of standby and emergency generator systems, including paralleling generator systems.
- Extensive field survey experience.
- Extensive experience with construction administration.
