Position Overview: LVI Associates is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Department Manager to lead our Electrical Division. The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license and have a proven track record in managing electrical engineering projects and teams. This role involves overseeing the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Electrical Division, managing a team of engineers and technicians.
- Project Oversight: Oversee all electrical engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems.
- Quality Assurance: Review and approve new or revised designs, testing procedures, and installation methods to ensure quality and compliance.
- Budget Management: Provide input into developing the budget and manage financial resources effectively.
- Professional Development: Offer professional development opportunities and expert guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
