Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning existing data centers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the commissioning process for existing data centers, ensuring all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, and maintained according to operational requirements.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and protocols.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of data center systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies during the commissioning process.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of commissioning activities and results.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center commissioning or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
- In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for data center commissioning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
