Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Commercial Manager to join our team in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will be an expert in commercial contracts, including BIMCO and FIDIC. This role is crucial for driving our business development efforts and managing client relationships in Taiwan's offshore wind sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including BIMCO and FIDIC agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage contract life cycle from initiation to closure, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the offshore wind sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry bodies.
- Lead market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
Client Facing:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's commercial strategy.
- Collaborate with senior management to align commercial activities with overall business goals.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in commercial contract management, specifically with BIMCO and FIDIC contracts.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the offshore wind sector and related industries.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable.
