Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our client's Land Development team. This fully remote position will support their Northern California office, managing a variety of land development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage land development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Oversee the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and specifications.
Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to ensure project compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly archived.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development project management.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working in a remote team environment is a plus.
