One of our regional level clients are seeking a Senior Civil Design Roadway Engineer for their Southern California Transportation Group. This role can be based in LA, Apple Valley, Ontario, or Tustin, CA offices. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with extensive experience and technical expertise in multi-disciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and draft comprehensive roadway, traffic, or stormwater plans using Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation
- Prepare and review construction documents, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct technical reviews and implement quality assurance/control procedures
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field inspections
- Provide post-design construction support, including addressing RFIs and conducting submittal reviews
- Collaborate with project teams on all aspects of project execution
- Resolve project design issues and maintain positive client relationships
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth
Basic Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
- Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation design
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and/or Open Roads

- Salary range: $135,000 - $185,000 depending on location and experience
