We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our team and lead our Land Development or Urban Development space projects. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the civil engineering of various projects across both greenfield and brownfield land development projects - Industrial, commercial, and residential. You will work closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for land or urban development projects.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and other technical documents related to land or urban development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and staff members.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess site conditions and monitor construction progress.
- Attend project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to discuss project requirements, progress, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations related to land or urban development.
- Prepare project proposals, reports, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in land or urban development civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering design software such as 12d, AutoCAD, DRAINS, MUSIC.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
