Role Overview:
They are a seeking a highly skilled Consulting Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of providing the best design and engineering services in the building envelope industry. You will work with a diverse team of experts to deliver innovative and practical solutions to the demands of modern architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Systems: Possess knowledge of aluminum-and-glass curtain wall systems, window systems, masonry, stone, precast concrete, and unitized/panelized façade systems. Understand the performance capabilities of barrier walls, rain screens, and pressure equalized systems, as well as the application of sealants, flashings, thermal insulation, and air/water/vapor barrier materials within these systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Capable of interpreting architectural and structural drawings, wind tunnel test reports, and technical specifications.
- Client Collaboration: Work with clients and consulting staff to develop new architectural details or remedial details and specifications for exterior building enclosure systems.
- Field Work: Conduct on-site observations of installations, perform existing wall condition surveys, and carry out diagnostic testing in line with industry standards.
- Team and Independent Work: Communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel, and Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $120,000-$140,000 depending on expertise.
