They're expanding their bridge engineering function in Atlanta and looking for a talented Senior Bridge Engineer to join the team.
Position Overview: As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of bridge projects in Georgia. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of GDOT projects and help grow our bridge function. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with onsite project involvement as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and analysis of bridge structures, ensuring compliance with GDOT standards and project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality bridge designs.
Perform structural calculations, develop detailed plans, and prepare project documentation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections to ensure project progress and address any technical issues.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in bridge engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
3-12 years of experience in bridge design and engineering, with a strong focus on GDOT projects.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and bridge design tools (OpenBridge, LEAPbridge, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Base Salary $80,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience
