Join a nationally recognised ENR Top 100 Design firm seeking experienced Aviation Civil Engineers to support its growing presence across the Western U.S.
Salary Range: $110,000-$180,000
This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact airport infrastructure projects, including runway design, taxiway improvements, airfield lighting, and drainage systems. Ideal candidates have a strong background in civil engineering with a focus on aviation and a passion for delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and drainage systems.
- Oversee the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E).
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, local codes, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to drive project success.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Perform site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Minimum of 5 years of aviation-related engineering experience.
- Familiarity with FAA standards, airport design guidelines, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
