Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in programming automated equipment such as vision systems, high-speed assembly lines, and Fanuc robotics. This role supports the implementation and troubleshooting of advanced systems for Cartridge and Syringe Tray Handling platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support:
- Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting during commissioning and qualification phases.
- Execute commissioning and qualification testing for automated equipment.
- Integrate automation systems with site systems such as MES and ancillary equipment.
- Review and manage source code for manufacturing equipment and update design documentation.
Knowledge Sharing & Training:
- Support site engineering teams by sharing expertise and training staff.
- Develop technical procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Communicate and implement continuous improvement solutions with cross-functional teams.
Collaboration:
- Work with vendors and global engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Act as a key point of contact for platform integration and ongoing improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing automation.
- Experience programming and working with automated systems, including:
- Vision systems and high-speed mechanical assembly lines.
- Fanuc robotics, Cartridge Tray, and Syringe Tray Handling systems.
- Familiarity with Rockwell PLC, FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, pneumatics, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
- Ability to execute test cases and manage documentation within a regulated environment.
- Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration with global teams.
