Senior Automation Engineer
Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Automation Engineer for a permanent position located in Des Moines. Our client is a well-established company that is at the forefront of the Industrial Automation industry. They are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems that will improve their manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Rockwell, Allen Bradley, HMI's, RSLogix, and Studio5000.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing automation systems
- Programming PLCs and HMIs
- Interpreting process and instrumentation diagrams
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to ensure that automation systems are integrated effectively
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with automation systems
- Providing technical support to other departments
- Ensuring that automation systems are in compliance with safety regulations
Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Experience working with Rockwell, Allen Bradley, HMI's, RSLogix, and Studio5000
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to interpret process and instrumentation diagrams
- 7+ years experience
Additional Information
