A cornerstone of the New Hampshire architecture scene is seeking an experienced Senior Architect with an interest in leadership to join their team! This role is suited for a driven professional who demonstrates exceptional leadership, design, and technical skills and is ready to take on responsibilities aligned with growth toward a Principal Architect role. As a Senior Architect, you will lead projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the design, development, and delivery of projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Strategic Vision: Provide strategic input on design approaches, innovation, and sustainable solutions to enhance project outcomes and strengthen the firm's reputation.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while ensuring their vision is translated into successful design outcomes.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level architects, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the team.
- Technical Expertise: Oversee the integration of design and technology, ensuring adherence to building codes, regulations, and the highest quality standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with interdisciplinary teams, consultants, and stakeholders to coordinate efforts and deliver cohesive project results.
- Business Development: Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client pitches, demonstrating expertise and a forward-thinking mindset.
- Path to Principal Role: Proactively demonstrate leadership qualities, decision-making skills, and business acumen necessary for consideration as a Principal Architect, including a focus on long-term firm growth and strategic contributions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 10+ years of architectural experience, with a strong portfolio of diverse, high-impact projects.
- Licensed Architect in NH.
- Strong knowledge of design software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp) and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to balance creative innovation with practical constraints.
