Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of water treatment pump systems, with a focus on designing and optimizing solutions for our clients. As a Senior Application Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our sales, engineering, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your technical expertise in water treatment pumps to assist customers in selecting the most appropriate pump systems for their specific applications.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop customized pump solutions, including system design, product selection, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support to sales teams during customer presentations and meetings, offering insights into pump performance, capabilities, and benefits.
- Conduct pump system simulations and calculations to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative pump designs and enhancements based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Support customers with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of pump systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical handling, knowledge or application engineering in pumps and/or hydraulic principles
- Knowledge of various types of water treatment pumps, their applications, and performance characteristics is a plus.
- Familiar with markets like water treatment, utilities, industrial, and commercial buildings.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to pump systems.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
