Job Description: I am seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic Security Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer will have experience in the CCTV/Access Control Systems Integration segment of the IT field. We are looking for a candidate who can effectively configure and troubleshoot network appliances as well (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
Responsibilities:
* Configure Switches, Routers, Firewalls to meet customer connectivity requirements.
* Configure PTP & PMP Wireless Radios to meet customer connectivity requirements.
* Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
* Configure and commission IP cameras, Access Control Panels, IP Video Intercoms.
* Troubleshoot Video Surveillance hardware/software issues.
* Troubleshoot image quality issues/inconsistencies.
* Troubleshoot Access Control hardware/software issues.
* Prepare Windows Servers for deployment (setup RAID - configure NICs - install software/features).
* Document work completed and devices configurations made (Excel & Visio).
* Communicate with customers to work towards project/service resolutions.
* On-site meetings and configurations with customers (NJ-NY-PA)
Qualifications:
* Experience with Genetec Security Center Video Surveillance (Omnicast)
* Experience with Access Control (Genetec Synergis, IDenticard, Keri, or equivalent)
* Associates Degree in Computer Networking or Computer Science preferred (or equivalent in education and work experience)
* Strong networking skill set
* Basic knowledge of Windows Servers & Roles
* Personal vehicle for transportation to/from office & customer sites (mileage reimbursed)
* Ability to lift 50lbs
